“There’s zero correlation between being the best talker and having the best ideas.”
I first read this book a few years after high school, and it completely changed my life. Back then, I often felt like there was something wrong with me. I’d get exhausted by social situations or prefer spending time in my own head. It turns out, that’s just the way my brain works.
We’re all wired differently, but society often treats extroversion as the “right” way to be. When I first read Quiet, I remember posting on Facebook that every teacher should read it. Now that I’m older, I’d like to revise that: everyone should read this book.
Whether you’re a business owner, a teacher, or simply someone who interacts with people every day, this book will help you better understand an entire group of people, and if you’re lucky, it might even help you understand yourself. 💫

This book might seem a little unorthodox for a blog about business and becoming a millionaire, but The Alchemist is my all-time favorite. From the first time I read it, I was hooked. People often asked me what drew me in, and for the longest time, I couldn’t explain it, it was more of a feeling than anything else.
Recently, I realized why it resonated so deeply: it shares many of the same themes as Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The main character has a dream, a burning desire, that he could have easily ignored. But through persistence, faith, and action, he turns that dream into reality. Nonfiction books teach us strategies and systems, but fiction allows us to experience transformation on an emotional level. The Alchemist reminds us that the journey toward our dreams is just as important as the destination, and that’s a lesson every future millionaire needs to remember.
