So here’s the thing, when people say consistency is key, they aren’t lying.

You can work hard for weeks at a time, but the moment you ease off the gas, your momentum starts to slip. Not all at once, but faster than you expect.

Think of it like going to the gym.

You’ve been showing up for years. You’ve made real progress. You might not be exactly where you want to be yet, but you’re further than you’ve ever been. Then something interrupts your routine. A few missed days turn into a week… then a couple more.

Before you know it, you start to notice the difference. Some muscle fades. Maybe a little extra weight shows up. But worse than that, you’ve lost your rhythm. Your momentum.

And that’s the hardest part to rebuild.

Because then your mind starts going there.

Where would I be right now if I hadn’t stopped?

Maybe you would’ve hit a new PR. Maybe you would’ve gotten your first pull-up. Maybe you were closer than you realized.

Gym analogies aside… that’s exactly where I am right now.

It’s almost ironic, considering my last post was titled “I’ve Fallen a Bit Off Track.” You’d think writing that would’ve been enough to snap me back into consistency, and for a little while, it was.

But not fully.

The truth is, I’ve loved the things I’ve been building, especially The Introvert Bookclub, and I fully plan to keep working on it. But I’ve noticed a pattern: when I hit a snag, I tend to pull back instead of pushing through.

And that’s the real problem.

I don’t know where the site would be right now if I had stayed consistent. But I do know this, I didn’t put all that time and energy into something just to let it sit quietly on the internet, going nowhere.

At a certain point, saying “I fell off track” over and over doesn’t mean much anymore, especially if nothing changes afterward.

So this is me doing something different.

Not just saying it, but actually committing to it.

I’m going to keep working on The Introvert Bookclub.

I’m going to keep showing up for this site.

I’m going to stay consistent, even when it’s frustrating, unclear, or slow.

And more than anything, I’m going to follow through.

Because momentum isn’t something you find, it’s something you build, and protect.

And this time, I’m not letting it slip.

Oh, and most importantly, I am going to be a millionaire!
